Daniel Zovatto is President of the political and geopolitical analysis consulting firm Latam Asesoría Estratégica 360. He is also a Senior Researcher at the Center for International Studies at the Catholic University of Chile, a member of the Editorial Board of Foreign Affairs Latin America (FAL), and Director-Editor of the daily report and weekly summary Radar Latam 360.


He has served as a Global Fellow at the Wilson Center and as a Nonresident Senior Research Associate at The Brookings Institution. His extensive career in multilateral organizations includes serving as Regional Director of International IDEA for Latin America and the Caribbean (1997–2023), Executive Director of the Center for Electoral Assistance and Promotion, and Deputy Director of the Inter-American Institute of Human Rights.


A recognized analyst and international speaker, he frequently appears on CNN en Español, NTN24, and numerous media outlets across Latin America. He is the author, co-author, editor, or compiler of 40 books and more than 100 articles on elections, democracy, and governance in the region.


As part of the alliance with Latam Asesoría Estratégica 360, Dr. Zovatto leads the strategic consulting program on political and geopolitical risk, corporate diplomacy, and business intelligence.
