Ana Carolina Rodríguez leads the department of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) at Bufete Illueca. Her duties also include providing advice to entrepreneurs and national and multinational companies through our Corporate Law department. The multidisciplinary approach of her practice, together with the needs of the burgeoning corporate sector and the growing role of NGOs in Panamanian society, make her a strategic ally of our clients.


Mrs. Rodríguez has significant experience in structuring and advising national and international NGOs. She regularly represents NGOs in the process of recognition of their legal status before the Ministry of Government of the Republic of Panama. Likewise, she advises these organizations on the successful implementation and administration of their projects and regarding tax, immigration, labor and banking issues.


Furthermore, she has contributed in the preparation of workshops and seminars regarding new regulations, focusing on the immediate needs and constant updating of our clients. Recently, she has conducted training on sexual harassment in work environments, in compliance with current legal standards.


Mrs. Rodríguez is a certified mediator in the Republic of Panama. She has acted as national and international electoral observer, and is a member of the international youth network Generation Democracy.
